Danie Shafer: Danie Shafer is a seasoned professional basketball player with a passion for mentoring and helping athletes achieve their dreams. A standout player in high school, Danie led Kettering Fairmont to a state championship in 2013 before continuing her career at Urbana University. At Urbana, she made an indelible mark on the record books, setting multiple records for three-point shooting, free-throw percentage, and more. Graduating in 2018 with a degree in Sport Management and Coaching, Danie was soon recruited to play professionally. Currently in her fifth season overseas, Danie has played in countries like England, the Netherlands, Iceland, and Germany. Along the way, she’s gained invaluable international experience and insight into the game of basketball. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Danie pivoted into coaching, serving as an assistant coach at the NCAA D2 level. This experience deepened her understanding of the game from a leadership perspective, and she now combines her on-court experience with a passion for coaching the next generation of athletes. Through her personal business, Danie offers a range of services to help aspiring athletes navigate the recruiting process. From customized recruiting guides and advice to highlight creation, Danie is dedicated to providing athletes with the tools they need to succeed both on and off the court.
